Welcome to Tiny Zen House.
 
Our cozy chalet (1 to 4 people) is modernly furnished and has a spacious garden with private sauna; a nice place to relax and unwind! The chalet is located on the Stelleplas in Zeeland, a small-scale and quiet recreational park. In the park you can enjoy walking around the lake or cycling in nature. It is also possible to fish at Stelleplas with a 'VISpas'.  During the season you can use the adjacent open-air swimming pool with sunbathing lawn (for a fee).
 
Do you want to go out for a day? In 20 minutes you can reach cozy Middelburg or the beach of Vlissingen. Grab your bike for a ride through beautiful Zeeland or go windsurfing at the Veerse Meer.
 
The chalet has a spacious garden and lovely sunbeds to relax. Parking is available in the private parking lot and is free.
The chalet has 1 bedroom on the ground floor (with bathroom furniture and shower), a bedroom on the loft and a dining area.
There is also air conditioning and a well-equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher.
 
Guest access
Check-in through a smart check-in with a key box. And parking is free in the private parking at the chalet.
 
Good to know
  • One bedroom with a double bed (160x200cm) on the ground floor, with adjacent shower/bathroom.
    And one playful sleeping loft with two single mattresses (80x200cm). The maximum height of the void is 130cm.
  • For a small fee you can use the adjacent outdoor swimming pool with sunbathing lawn, which is open during the season.
  • After booking you will receive an invoice and you pay 50% of the total amount. You pay the remaining 50% no later than 14 days before your stay.
  • With your booking you will receive one bag of wood, kindling and firelighters.
  • Pets are not allowed.

We are Laura & Sander and have a lovely chalet in Zeeland. We would like you to enjoy that too! That is why we do everything we can to give you a pleasant stay in our chalet. Because we both have very different jobs in daily life, running a chalet is a new and super fun challenge.

  • Do I have to bring my own towels and bed linen?
    No, 1 set of towels and bed linen is included per booking. If you think you need more, you must bring it with you.
     
  • Do I have to bring my own wood for the sauna?
    Each booking includes 1 bag of wood for the sauna, kindling and firelighters.
    If you want more, you can bring kiln-dried wood, with a moisture percentage of maximum 15-20% (this is due to smoke nuisance for other park guests). It is not permitted to use self-gathered wood. This is not good for the sauna heater and causes (smoke) nuisance for the other guests.
     
  • Where can I park the car?
    The chalet has a private parking space. It is mandatory to park the car here.
     
  • Can I charge my electric car at the chalet?
    No, the car may not be charged at the chalet itself. There are charging stations in the large parking lot at the main entrance.
     
  • Is there WiFi?
    Yes, there is free WiFi available.
  • What are the booking conditions?
    The conditions are stated on the site, under the general terms and conditions. When booking you agree to these conditions.
     
  • What are the cancellation policy?
    The cancellation conditions are stated on the site, under the general terms and conditions.
    Failure to cancel in time may result in a no-show charge.
     
     
  • Is there a cot available?
    Yes, the dimensions of the bed are 65 x 125 x 77cm. You must bring your own bed linen. The maximum load is 20KG/86cm.
     
  • Confirmation of your booking
    After completing your details and confirming the booking on the site, you will receive a confirmation by email. In this confirmation you will also receive additional information regarding the park, check-in, etc.
     
  • I have placed a booking but have not received an email. What do I do now?
    Please check the email address carefully when making the booking and check whether the email ended up in the spam box. If you have not received an email within 30 minutes, please send an email to TinyZenHouse@outlook.com
     
  • Are pets allowed?
    No.
     
  • Do all prices include VAT?
    Yes.
     
  • Are fireworks and open fire allowed?
    Fireworks are not allowed in the park. During New Year's Eve, fireworks are only allowed in the large parking lot at the main entrance.
     
  • How does the key transfer take place?
    We use a key box. You will receive the precise location, instructions and code 3 days before arrival. When you leave, put the key back in the key box. Do not change the access code! Only turn the number combination.
     
  • Is smoking allowed in the chalet?
    Smoking is not permitted in the chalet itself.
     
  • Celebrate
    Parties/gatherings are not allowed. Tiny Zen House does not accept bachelor parties or similar events.
     
  • Quiet hours
    No loud music before 10am
    No loud music after 10 p.m. in the evening.
     
  • When is the outdoor pool open?
    The swimming pool is open seasonally. For the most current days/times, go to Welcome to Sportfonds Borsele (zwembadstelleplas.nl). A small fee is charged for the use of the swimming pool.
     
  • Is there parking for bicycles?
    You can park the bicycle in the garden; there is no shed.
     
  • Is the chalet accessible to guests with reduced mobility?
    The chalet is accessible for people with reduced mobility. Unfortunately, the chalet is not accessible to people who are completely wheelchair dependent.
     
  • Can I make a fire at the chalet?
    Unfortunately, making fires is not allowed in the park.
     
  • How can I change a booking?
    To change the booking (in a timely manner), you can send an email to TinyZenHouse@outlook.com. Please note; If the booking conditions are not met, there may be costs associated with changing the booking.
     
  • How can I cancel?
    You can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before your arrival, please send an email to TinyZenHouse@outlook.com
     
  • Is there a washing machine?
    There is no washing machine in the chalet itself. You can get a coin for the washing machine at the reception of the holiday park (for a fee). The washing machines can be found near the playing field.
     
  • What payment options are there?
    There are 2 options for payment. You can pay via Ideal, for which you will receive a payment request. Or you can transfer the amount manually to:
